Usually, when you watch a video on youtube, you don't wonder about the lives of the people in it. Who cares what Charlie has done since he bit his brother's finger? Tay Zonday released a new song? Add it to the pile of songs I'll never listen to. However, this is not the case for filmmaker Ben Steinbauer. In his film, Winnebago Man, he speaks about his fascination with a video of out-takes from a promotional film for Winnebago motor homes. Perhaps you've seen this video. In it, the presenter, a man named Jack Rebney, displays his obvious frustration and anger with the shoot, and expresses it in some of the finest displays of profanity this world has ever seen. Steinbauer's fascination with Rebney made him want to know more about who Jack Rebney is and what he is doing now. Steinbauer recorded his journey of finding Rebney, and the end result is the 2009 film Winnebago Man.
